This Short Course is part of our Game Design Fundamentals Package, a set of nine courses that are perfect for embedding into middle and high school courses, or using in summer camps and after school programs.

Many games push the boundaries of storytelling. Learn how to use scenes, rising action, character development, and more to turn a game narrative into a card based Role Playing Game.

  • Design a storyboard
  • Write a card-based role playing game (RPG) based on the Hero’s Journey
  • Create a story portfolio
