Course Description

Do you want to be fearless in the face of standardized testing?

This course is designed to prepare students for the verbal sections of standardized tests including state English tests, PSAT, SAT and GRE examinations. 

Study focuses on assimilating existing knowledge with new procedures and on test taking techniques that will help increase scores. 

Sections include vocabulary study, reading comprehension skills, standard English usage, and writing.

About the Course Author

Amy Cloer has been teaching students at the high school and Advanced Placement levels for 20 years, and in the North Carolina Virtual Public Schools for four years. 

She has a master’s degree from the University of North Georgia in English Education. 

Her daughter attends NC State University in Raleigh, NC and her son will be entering the military next year. 

She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her dog Scout.
